hi guys,

I am reading thru the fsm and have hit a wall, is there a "separation point" for the wiring harness for the halogen wiring section to the halogen headlamp, or is it just one long harness thru-out the engine bay, and the only way to get a "xenon wiring" harness is to replace the whole engine bay harness?

I only ask because I'd like to collect info so people who would like to get stock xenon housings and get the "hid" package that they/we wanted but not willing to pay for the extras like moonroof, craptastic moonroof and tomtom navi.

Thanks!

this is the harness part of it

it looks like you'd need different ones, since in the wiring diagram they are a "bit" different but not completely different. I'd imainge mazda would have "plug in points" so if you wanted to add or remove options you could just swap that part of the harness opposed to swapping out the whole harness itself.

can any owners with the tech package chime in? or possibly take pics so we can see if there is a difference?

The harnesses for the 3 run about $100 each from the dealer. Should be similarly priced for the CX-5
