Had to share but didn't know where to post

I was on the way home from picking up pizza and had my father in law with me. I'm showing him the new car. He's a car guy...Camaro SS, Z06, and many others. Anyway, I disable traction control and took off fairly quickly from a light showing him how the tires would spin from a roll. I guess we got some attention because a white Tahoe starts pacing me.

We get stopped at the next light. On the green, I roll out pretty quickly he comes with me and we nail it. I proceed to put about two cars on him before we shut down around 65-70. Cool guy..I got a waive and a smile. He was alone, I had my father in law with me....and two pizzas.

I'm guessing it was the smaller v8...maybe the 5.3.

what were the toppings on the pizza. If you only had cheese this might have made the difference. J/K cool story.

It'd be even faster if you had better tires. Mine is.

I get that a lot, usually a vehicle with a fart can exhaust They always think their car is faster, because it's louder. Quite a few Tahoe's too.

You're lucky he was cool. Too many get their ego bruised and start driving like maniacs to prove they can beat you. (usually AFTER you already shut it down to avoid a ticket)

I had a jerk in a Lincoln truck (PU$$Y) get furious with me becasue I flicked my headlights at him for blocking traffic on the interstate.
He finally gets over and hangs out the window, both fingers blazing. (Don't know who was driving at that point). I think what made him even more mad was when he kept trying to catch me and couldn't. Every time he got close, a little more gas kept him behind me.
Had our exit not come up. where I tricked him into getting next to me just before I got off, I would have had to call the DPS, since he was driving far in excess of that truck's abilities and nearly ran a few cars off the road trying to catch me. Stupid.
