Had a great idea... Race between a Lancer OZ Edition and Protege 5.

My friend just got his Lancer and I just got my Protege 5. Both cars have same HP and are roughly around the same weight. what a great match it would be between two STOCK auto cars.

haha, that sounds cute.. Hooray 4 life indeed. God has given us amazing things to experience and I want to live to experience it as well.

Racing is dangerous folks. I don't race, i drive for my own pure pleasure and speed only when it is smart to do so.

i also have a friend that has one, i beat her. it basically comes down to the better driver.

I thought the Lancer only had 120HP. The OZ edition does nothing to the engine, if I remember right. Can anyone else confirm this?

well...I did raced with EVO VII... stupid me what was I thinking...
(stupid) I was only one in the car and EVO VII had 4 ppl and obviously I was faster until 0-30mph but within next 7secs, I lost sight of him.
but lancer oz edition is piece of cake!!! he he

Your right foggy, lancers have 120hp, even the oz. The oz just gets wheels and a body kit. BTW has anyone seen the Ralliart lancer(the new lancer to fill the gap between the OZ and Evo), I saw some pics and it looks really ugly. later

i thought the new ralliart was the same as the evo, but without the spoiler and the engine performance. i also thought the new (2004) ralliart lancers have 150 hp. maybe i read that in my dreams ..................................

all us lancers are 120 hp at the fly and maybe 100 at the wheels, id say more around 90 something, and with 130 toque at fly prolly 100 or more at wheels, its significantly enuf to beat any ex or less honda. I haven't been into the mitsu seen here lately so i have no clue what the ralliart is but id say its not much over 150.

with some modding it can be quite the monster as can most cars.
infact i have heard the yellow lancer on the above link, has actually beating the evo VIII repeatidly at the track.

anyways but to stay on the point, stock lancer vs stock p5. the p5 will win everytime hands down unless you just cant drive worth a s***.
