H&R springs, the dead coils

The coils on the spring there are a few that are really close to each other.

Does anyone know for sure if theyre supposed to be at the bottom when you install it? or the top? (for the fronts and backs)

just like they are in the picture. the 2 on the outside in the pic are for the front, the 2 in the middle are for the rear

When I took out my OEM ones, my fronts looked like the ones in the middle though...the rears looked exactly like the outter ones


Right now I have my dead coils sitting at the bottom for the Fronts...will that cause any damage?

the longer ones are the rears, the shorter are the fronts

I think u got those backwards buddy...


but yeah, they will only sit upright one way on the strut, just as they are in the pic.
