I put mine on the A-pillar. Yes the housing is black and the A-pillar is not...But oh well, it looks awesome.

I have it discreetly located on my steering column, don't have pic though...Like the sleeper look....but then again if they hear the suttle whine....it does give it away...heh, heh.

I use a steering column gauge pod for my boost gauge

i was thinking about making a custom pod out of carbon fiber and mounting it under the radio where the storage compartment is. Sort of like the the BMW M roadster have. im not sure how many i can fit, im thinking i will fit three but im not sure. Inimical_01ES
i like that steering column pod, I think im gonna get one of those too for the EGT gauge.

Not hard to do at all. Just route it up to the steering column instead of to the A-pillar.
