guys please need help!!!!

hey guys well i just had the same problem with my car afeter i cleaned the maf yesterday night was driving my car normally and sudenly it started to cut of till it went off and didn;t want to go back on tried several times but nothing so went to check in the engine bay there was a smeell a weired smeel of something burning dont know and it wwas very hot the engine t bay but very hot so i went to check the temperature and it was normally in the middle then after a while i turned it on and normally so when it cooled down it worked again so i woul like to have some help guys please le me know what to check tha maf no problem u have a header and a cai had the cai since long time so no pro with that thanks ill wait for ur response guys thanka alot ur help would be much apreciated......

Did you drive it right after cleaning the MAF? what did you use to clean it?

found it...

well i just found the cause of the problem i don;t know how to call it but it is the sensor that read something of the crank shaft the pics show where it is so it was when it is getting to hot it stops the car so it wouldnt turn on like for 10 minutes so what i did was prepared and wait to happen again and when it did thruw some cold water on it and then turned it on again and voiala turned on imediatly so there is the problem
