We had a pretty intense storm here in Utah last night, I was driving back home (about 30 miles) from a movie with my girl and her friend and we hydro-planed about 8 times. the traction control was going nuts.

No power right now. I'm on an UPS that's probably gonna die soon. The Speed3 cover blew off a few times so I had to secure it with yarn and zip ties in 70-90MPH winds + rain.

My buddy's Civic lost its cover completely. My wife's Civic Si is doing pretty well with its cover.

I lost the turbine thing from the top of my house and the shingles are falling like crazy. I hope insurance covers this s***!

Did any of you watch the news reports CNN was doing? Reporters holding onto light posts and s***. One woman got blown over and did a back flip and then got up going "I'm ok. I'm ok. I'm ok." I couldn't stop laughing at her.

yeah, if hanna comes this way any more than a mild cat 2 i'm out! Headed to my parents in Orlando. Been through a few storms in that house, and only lost power for a few hours as they are on the hsopital and police station grid. And no flooding as they're high enough up.

Got stuck at my house for a day or so until the waters went down enough to be able to leave the neighborhood here from Fay

Roof damage, siding damage, fireplace damage. The adjuster is coming out Tuesday. The lights came back on today though! (mj)

Here are a few pics I got:

The MS3 safely covered during the storm (on the right):

The civic in the picture lost its car cover due to the winds being ridiculous.

A tree that got pwned near my house:

glad to see that you and the speed are ok! good luck with those insurance adjusters

also this is just humorous. I have a few friends who got back to NOLA yesterday they said all the grocery stores were out of beer and chicken. I lucked out and found a gas station that juts open back up today...they had beer, but no chicken

I loved how you prepared your fridge for Gustav. Lots of beer. Good to see you, the cat and the speed are safe.

Thanks everyone! I was pretty lucky considering a lot of people got trees through their roofs and others will be out of power for most of this month.

Those pictures look a lot like what we got from Rita in 2005. Luckily, we didn't get any real damage this time around, but with Ike coming towards the Gulf, I guess we're not out of the woods yet.

I got my Speed3 on Friday of last week, and left the next day for Denver. Just got home last night, and already have 3000 miles on the odometer.
