Some do, but alot of them are loaded to start with. Entry is about $12000USD, and you are selected for the event. You can't just pay the fee and go. Do to the exposure these guys get, ALOT of shops pay some good $$$ to get stickers on the rides. Some of the sponsorships are aquired by the guys that organize Gumball3000, and go towards admin, and charity.

That is a Koenisegg. Glorified kit car from the factory. Has a supercharged v8, but is made up with parts from alot of other cars. The steering wheel is out of a Audi A4/S4 lol. Still a bad ass car though.

I didn't take the pics. I am up in Toronto, Canada. I believe it was a 2 megapixel cam though. 2+ usually takes some bad ass pics.

The entry fee is about $12,000, this is true, but not just anyone and any car can enter. There is a huge list of applicants that they go through. And you can trust me, they won't let a MP3 in there unless you have some sort of connections with the people who pick the cars that get to enter. There was a guy on the s2ki forum that was selected. I believe he was the only S2000 to get to enter. That should tell you how slim your chances are.
