Guess who just scored.....

Def Leppard....well what can I say. Those guys cranked out a lot of hits on the late 80s. They have over twenty #1 hits to choose from for a play list and many of them edgy rock with a definite driving bass line.

Yes, they are getting old as are all of us, but those guys still put on a great show. One thing I did notice, I looked around the stadium and that place was packed to the gills. Juxtaposed to Rush in July, Rush had massive amounts of empty rows of seats. My son and I basically walked around until we could find a good seat and sat down. When DL took the stage that place came alive for sure.

They played Hit after hit. The voice had a crackle or two, the guitars were pretty much the same that was recorded without much deviation but man it rocked.

My take? We had a really great time and that show was really something to see. I'd recommend you get tickets if they come to your town. They are scheduled to go up north to Canada for the rest of the tour. But I'd be thinking about next year after they release their new album.

I just wanted to squelch any naysayers criticism of this show. It rocked.

I would tend to think your audience is somewhat limited on this subject in this forum. I am about the same age as you, but I was a Hardcore Punk during that time.

The core membership here is much younger I believe.

I am 29 and I went when they were in town. They rocked but you can tell that they are getting old and their voices aren't quite what they used to be. I can go to any show and have a good time though. If the show sucks, people watch. If the people suck, drink more. If they run out of Jager, must be time to leave anyway.lol
