Guess what I got today... Finally.

i got my candy in the mail today!

awesome!

it's a b**** to take out that bolt holding the bushings though, i've practically stripped the nut already. i'm going to take it to a garage to see if they can do it for me.

Uhh, you don't have to take out that bolt, you just take the nut off and slide the entire bar/bushing setup off of the bolt. The exhaust may get in the way, but I just pushed it out of the way.

Do you get candy if you buy exhaust hangers?

When I went to their shop, Tom had a huge bag of candy sitting next to the merchandise. He told me that he has got a sweet tooth and likes to send out the candy too. I can only assume that anything that you order from Kartboy comes with candy...

yeah that's what i'm talking about.

the nut on the end of the bolt that's stuck in the tranny, is what i can't get out.

MC PEE PANTS at his finest!

I dont have a manual so i was just curious bout the candy with the exhaust hangers. If i were to get an aftermarket exhaust like say racing beat would it be wise to get kartboy exhaust hangers or will stockers work fine?

Depends on if you slow down for RR tracks or not. If not, get the Kartboy. No flex. The stockers are like rubber bands compared to Kartboy.

You do not have to take that bolt out. Just remove the nut, the first washer, and then slide the bushing/bar off of the bolt while leaving the bolt alone.

hhaha that's what i said! the nut isn't coming out!

hmm. . .when i put in my bushings the nut didn't come out either. . ...instead the whole stud came out of the tranny. . .but no harm done in that. . you just screw it back in at like the 18ft/lbs it says and you'll be alright.

as for the package. . .mine came actually in one piece when i bought mine in dec. . ..but i also got a free kartboy beanie with the candy too. . ..haa

Ok, i understand, you were just using the wrong terms so I was confused.

You meant that you couldnt get the nut OFF of the bolt, not that you couldnt get the bolt OUT of the tranny.

Nuts come OFF, bolts come OUT

I had to crawl all the way under the car to the point that my head was under the rear axle so that I could get my leg up and kick the end wrench on that bolt to knock it loose.

yeah my fault, i didn't know that whole nuts off bolts out thing. i was thinking about that but i figured i'd do more damage to the nut, or knowing my luck break the bolt right off.

Naw man, just put the end wrench on the nut so that it's sticking stright down and kick the living s*** out of it... well at least that's what I did. If you mess up your car don't blame me. :)
