gto 3rd brake light on msp stock spoiler?

has anyone done this? my oem red on was cracked and the dealer want 95 bucks for a new one. so i did some browsing and noticed the gto had a clear 3rd brake light and i found a used one on ebay for 15 bucks. it should bolt up. plugs are even the same except i notice the positive and negitive are opposite on the gto one

how the hell did yoiu even think of putting a GTO light on your protege? You must be very familiar with them I assume to even think of such a thing...imagine the coincidence that the 2 are identical...

no its as bright as the original. just looks different and sleaker on the car IMO

thanks. i love how it looks on the silver. the only hard part was the soldering the wires and that wasnt even that hard
