Yeah i'm going to sand it down to remove the gel coat. Then re clear it. Either that or do something creative with paint on it.

lol, I was wondering how bad it had gotten since I had it. It was yellowing up on me when I got rid of it..

Got a few PM's about my wheel tire fitment.

17x8.5 +30mm
215/45/17

If I could afford 215/40/17 I'd do it. Maybe 225 with a test fit.

Fender update

All of the fenders that have been ordered have been infused plus a couple sets that have minor flaws in them (will let them go for a discount.....). I am doing all of the minor prep and pre-sanding in preparation for clearcoating. Thanks for all of your patience. More labor involved than I thought.....
For those that might be interested in a set with minor flaws send me a PM and I will work out pricing with you. The flaws are not all that bad, but not quite up to our standard.

Currently watching Isport slave away in 95 degree heat making carbon awesome.

:D I can't wait! Just because soon I'll have

Built motor, XC hood, carbon fenders :) and a nice and shinny GT30! :D

Ask and you shall receive

Here is the first fender out of the mold. It is wet sanded in a few places and not clear coated, so no shiny part yet.
It fit good and it seems to be about 20% of the weight of the stock steel.

on a side note, you can see how yellow the hood is. it almost looks like kevlar.
So how much do the stock fenders weigh? Same question regarding these; you must have weighed them right?

The fenders weigh less then I thought, but it still amounts to a 9lb weight loss. That's only about 0.3% of the total of the car, but every bit counts...
What does a CF hood weigh compared to stock (if anyone knows off-hand)?

Awesome, thank you!
That would be a little over 1% in weight reduction, which isn't anything to scoff at :)
