Grounding wires?

Hi,
Sun Automobile sells the "HyperGround" kit featured in one of the ImportTuner magazine issues. I don't feel like spending money on wires like this and would like to make my own.

Anyone have suggestions on wiring? 4AWG or 8AWG? I should probably get a wire with a high strand count rather than thickness, right? Would speaker wire be ok?

hey

do a search on this. there was a lengthy discussion on this earlier. some are for it, some are against. all depends on your priorities really. i am for them. anything to get the "spark" back to your battery quicker is better than stock. i plan on doing them shortly, but will also replace the stock wires at the same time (can only help). using your own wires? cant give much advise, but surely the thicker the better
