grill removal help

ok, so i have searched and found some threads about removing the front grill, but i cant seem to do it. everyone says how it pops out real easy, but mine wont. so i assume im doing it wrong. could someone please just give me a step by step on how to do it? thanks

hmm well i have done it several times, but take note, u need to remove the locking mechanism, there are about 5 or 6 bolts? and two large screws that hold the grill and front bumper on. be careful though, i have lost the 6 bolts already :( but as long as u have the two screws, you should be safe. after all the bolts are removed, just jiggle it around and it should pop off. putting it back is simple, but just remember what bolts came from where because some are different sizes.
if i am posting anything wrong, please someone fix me on what is being said. but i have removed the grill before, and yea, it isnt that hard. good luck - chris

how do i remove the locking mechanism? im sorry but i keep trying and i cant seem to get the thing off. i feel retarded. can anyone just go thru the steps with me, 1 at a time? if you dont wanna clutter up the forum, you can pm it to me.
thanks a bunch, sorry for the retardedness.

Wich grill? Top or Bottom? also for which type of car?

if its a P5 for the top grill you will have to remove 2 screws...then it has 2 push in type screws that need to be removed....after that it should pull right out....pull the grill Up and Out....hope this helps...

yes this is for the top grill, and i think i may have located the problem. i unscrewed two screws, popped out two others, but there are two others that dont seem to come out. the grill wont pop out with these two still in place. i took a picture. also, im trying to do this without taking off the bumper because i hear you can.

no no no those 2 just pull up on and it pops of it...i figured that out when i was just messing with the damn thing

Speaking of grills, I put my AutoEXE in last night. Once you take a good look at everything, you'll figure out what screws keep it in place. You'll have to pull pretty hard and don't worry, you won't break it.
