Green engine coolant color at 60k miles

My 2015 CX-5 is exactly 10 years old and has 60,000 miles. I just took it to get the oil changed and when I got home, I noticed the engine coolant looks diluted green color. Is this normal or did a shop contaminate it? I thought I remember it being red. The car was rarely used in the last 2.5 years and sat in storage most of the time.

Whats the recommendation with engine coolant and brake fluid at this point? Thanks

Per the manual for my 2016.5 CX-5, it says the first coolant swap should occur at 120Kmi or 10yrs, afterwards every 60Kmi or 5yrs. Your 2015 model's owners manual indicates the same thing.

If it has been 10yrs, then it's time for a coolant change. And if it has been sitting, I'd be wary of strange "gunk" coming out of it when draining (or flushing).

Brake fluid is one of those things that many people don't seem to worry over. But if it was X years old when it began to sit, then it's been sitting 2+ years, I would get a fluid flush/bleed. Given it's a safety thing, it's probably worth doing. Then you know what you've got.

Absolutely. Change out the coolant and flush the brake system. The coolant from a corrosion standpoint and the brakes from the standpoint that brake fluid absorbs moisture which lowers the boiling point of the fluid and can also cause corrosion in the system especially the expensive ABS components.
The factory fill in my 2014 was green. I replaced it with Zerex Asian Formula green ( ~$21/gal. and comes in a few different colors) that is the PREMIXED version which makes it much easier than fooling around trying to get proper water/coolant concentration ratio when using the undiluted version.

There is no engine block drain so I drained ~1 gallon from the radiator and added 1 gallon jug Zerex. Drove around to mix old with the new. Repeated again with the next gallon. Used exactly 2 gallons. It's not a flush but the old coolant was crystal clear green and no sediment so I consider that good enough. I actually changed out twice (6 year mark and 10 year mark). The second time instead of driving around to mix coolant, getting the engine hot at operating temperature and holding 2500 rpm for 5 minutes was done.
The brakes I had flushed twice also. The first place were getting new tires and the second at my local mechanic.

I'm guessing you'd have these services performed somewhere but added some details in case you DIY.
