Hey i bought a greddy type s bov off of marcksavoie here on the forum. My question is... I previously had the greddy type rs, i do see that the type s has a second nipple for something what does that go to? And to get the sound of the type s, should it be turned soft or hard?

Thanks in advance!

Hmmm I didn't think the Type S had a second nipple... I'm pretty sure the RS and S are pretty much identical. I have the RS on my car and my friend Erik has the Type S on his MSP... they look the same except the colors are different. And It should be turned more to hard to prevent stalling, but you should tune it to what you think is the best.

the 2nd nipple is for another vac source. its optional and you don't need to hook it up.

the bov doesnt have like nut on the top of it like it shows in the picture it actually looks like a freaking bolt with a huge head... i think i got jipped i might just have to order one from ********** before they are gone

If you set the type s to 4 and half turns to the hard side once you have it kinda lose, then that is the perfect sound of the type s for the msp. It should have a allen wrench that came with it to losen or tighten the nut up on the screw.

I am going to have to order another one... cause this one is screweed unless i can get my rs screw out im gonna order another one

don't tighten it too tight. you'll strip the stud right out of the BOV

What happens or wat can u do if you strip the stud right out is there any way of fixin it?!?!?

yeah you can fix it. i'm not sure how. i did it to mine obviously. someone else fixed it for me. my BOV is now not adjustable and its stuck on the hardest setting i think. maybe just glue the stud back in the hole?

I think that the second nipple is for higher boosting cars because with the second nipple hooked up on my car it barely opens up.
