Yo, wazzup everyone...
I've just purchased and installed the Greddy Profec Type S. As a result, my car is able to sustain between 9psi and 10psi all the way to redline. However, the boost still spikes to about 12psi. On this EBC, there are three nobs: "BOOST GAIN", "LO BOOST", and "HI BOOST." According to the manual, to suppress the boost from spiking, you need to adjust the "BOOST GAIN" nob. The default settings of the Greddy EBC for the "BOOST GAIN" is set to max. I've adjusted it and it doesn't spike anymore. Also, the car still holds boost around 9 to 10psi.
My question is am I loosing power on the high end by adjusting the "BOOST GAIN" to a lower setting?
