I am looking for a Greddy Exhaust. I loved the previous one I had on an older car of mine. Does Greddy make one for the MP3? I thought I saw someone talking about one on a previous thread, but I can't find it. What other car parts are interchangable on this car? I see some things for the Mazda 5 work and also the MSP, not exactly sure? Thanks for all your help guys! I'll get some pics of the car once I get my small quarterpanel dent fixed. bought the car for $8,000 with 51K on it. Everything is clean except about $1000 worth of body work needs to be done. I'm happy with the purchase.

greddy made one for the protege5 but it was discontinued. i am not aware of one currently made for the sedan model. i do have access to various different exhaust systems if you are interested.

the piping diameter on the greddy catback is 2.36"... so it's not much of an improvement over the stock racing beat exhaust piping, which is 2.25". but if you're getting it for looks and slightly different sound, then i think it's a good choice.

i looked at Borla's website and it didnt show any results for the MP3...what

make sure you've heard an hks on a n/a car before you buy. they sound pretty cranky.........personally i think a little ricy. i was really considering one for my mp3 but in the end decided on magnaflow w/out cats. they sounds pretty damn good on a n/a car. then i went and bought the msp.

so basically custom 3 inch piping, no cats with a Magnaflow muffler is the way to go to give it a good deep growl?

well that was just my prefference. you can here this sound in a vid someone posted on here. it was a mountain run video that i think the arizona guys did. its a REALLY long vid and one of the guys has that setup and you can hear it there. the vid is on my laptop up at school, ill try to upload it for ya when i go tomorrow. i think the racingbeat and greddy growl pretty nicely as well though for n/a. its just that the hks sounds sort of nasty w/out the turbo.

yeah, i wont be slappin on a turbo for awhile so i want something that'll sound deep. Becuase I'm already accused of having a "Fake" car (confusing me with a honda maybe?). I need it to sound good, unlike all the other cars around here.
