Greddy BOV very quiet

I have a group buy going on right now for a good MBC. I agree that if you turn up the boost it will get much louder. If that still isn't enough, then you need a vented hood.

MBC's are notoriously unreliable at controlling boost spikes. I think ill wait and get the profec.

Not this MBC bud. I have ran it up to 14psi in my car and I have never seen more than a 1psi spike. You don't need to spend 300 bucks to get reliable boost control.

Plus here is the thing. Your MBC is 77.00 plus i would need to get gauge pod and at least a boost gauge and an A/F gauge to go in it. So now we are up to 77.00 + 40.00 + 120.00 = 237.00 ... or i could just buy the profec with built in boost guage for 280 and guaranteed protection from boost spikes.

*Retail* price of the MBC setup is 77$... GB pricing will be 60$ shipped if we have 10 or less, 55$ shipped if we get more than 10.

There is also a autometer bulk buy going on where you can get a great deal on an AFR gauge and boost gauge. I just checked that thread for you and you can get the autometer ultra lite boost gauge for 55$, and the ultra lite AFR gauge for 65$.

When I installed my hard pipes, I had a flange welded onto turbo pipe near air box. Then I capped off the turbo pipe nipple that runs to the stock bpv. Then I capped off the intake pipe nipple that the other side the bpv connects too. THIS WAY YOUR ARE ELIMINATING THE BPV ALL TOGETHER. Then install Greddy on the flange run the vaccum line from greddy to the same vaccum where stock was located. Adjust greddy bov till about 5 threads above screw and let that ****** rip. Oh yea TURN UP THE BOOST DOG.....
I don't have pics, but this setup will work....

just to let you know...if you think that with the profec b spec II your not going to get spikes issues....you got something coming...no matter how tuned you get the spec II your going to spike..the fact that its a no s*** ebc makes it harder to control the psi...it may have all the fancy features but ask someone who has it that is runnin higher than stock boost about it.

good luck
