grease / anti sieze the mount?

might be a stupid question... read some howto, none of them mention about grease/ antizeize

but i find the bolt in the center work just like caliper pin, if you grease the caliper pin, y not the mount?

so i come up with the question

do you or should you grease the bolt that run in the middle of the rubber?

and do you or should u anti-seize the bolt that bolt the mount onto the frame? easy to take them apart next time? (will this anti-seize make bolts loose over time?)

(i just had a bad time fighting the 10 years old rusted nuts and bolts (hand))

or do you actually use locktite on the bolts that bolt on to the frame?

i feel like i wanna rust proof every bolts/nuts from now on

ALWAYS GREASE the caliper slides, or else they loose the lubrication and can sieze in the caliper and will make your pads wear unevenly.

as for the caliper bracket bolts. use the correct tools (extended ratchets, cheater bars, impacts) and you will have very little need for anti-seize, but if you dont have said tools to make things easy then slap some on.

only time i use anti-sieze is on difficult tune ups ill put some on the plugs just to make it easier the next time (and it helps the install)

now loc-tite albeit blue or red (im sure theres more) should only be used in instances where something is comming loose over time or you cant apply enough torque to be sufficient. i would use it only in instances where said fastener can take the excess torque it will take to remove it next go. i rarely use it in the shop.

i was asking about the engine mount , got answer from biking pro already.

and

just found something new...

more than half of the engine valve cover bolts are super loose(when i mean super loose i mean i unscrew them by hand....) (and this car were sheltered in my backyard for winter months)

now i know i need locktite on this valve cover bolts XD
