Sweetest Car Ever
ok so i have a mazda 3s and i recently installed a underbody neon kit. well i had to mount the front tube on that plastic cover that u have to take off to change the oil. now when i take her in there for her first oil change im worried the dealership will b**** about that. i was thinkin maybe i could just take a hole saw to that plastic and drill a 4" hole right below the oil filter so they wouldnt have to take it off???? its just a piece of plastic i dont see what the harm would be, someone lemme know if im wrong. thanks (dunno)

i wouldnt **** around with drilling a new hole. just go there and be like listen, this is wut i have done, can you do the oil change?

if not do it urself
its not that hard
and you will save some money

I am glad that I read this post. I was about to install an underbody kit this month and did not realize that there was a shield that covers the oil plug or filter. Now I won't be surprised when I go to change my oil.

My input is to just change your own oil. Save money and less hastle. It can't be any harder to get off that oil cover.

Does the car really need to have the cover? If not I'll probally just taking mine off and stashing it somewhere.

yeah im pretty sure the cover has to come off, theres a hole in it but it looks like someone wasnt payin attention when they made this car cuz the hole is about 5 inches off. ill post some pics tomorrow. (drunk)
