Got the IS300 Rims!

Drove down and picked up the Lexus IS300 wheels w/tires for $575 from a guy I found on a Lexus forum who lives in San Diego. He took them off his car the day after he bought it and replaced them with 18"s. I have to get the centerbores to 67.1mm on Thursday.

The centercaps have the chrome "L" that can be pulled right off. I ordered a set of custom 2" vinyl Mazda emblems to go in their place. It should look sweet!

Anyway, I thought it was a great bargain "upgade" to 17"s with wider tires. They weigh 22 lbs., which isn't terribly bad.

Well, just thought I'd share.

Nice. We have a set at the shop. They weigh the same as the MP3 17's too. Not light but at least Mazda set the bar. lol.

I'm interested in seeing how much it runs to get them bored out. Let me know if you can. If it sounds like a lot I can make some calls for you. But let me know what it costs over there. WE're more in the south bay.

What did it cost to have them bored? Just curious!!

Actually, I sold them to a board member called Zumi. He had the fitment issues worked out and he posted pictures, so do a search. I've had MSP rims on the P5 for over a year and a half.
