Got pulled over by MD State Police

I got pulled over this morning by a female MD State Trooper. She was itchin to give me a ticket for lowered ride height, modified exhaust, and anything else. So what do I do, CALL THE DEALERSHIP. Oh yeah. God I love technology. She wrote me a fix it ticket for my front fender which was mangled by a raccoon. I was unaware that they could do this. It is not hanging, just cracked. I was already at the body shop yesterday and was taking it in next week. Oh well, I'll just have the dealership sign off and contact my insurance company for one of those damn forms (Don't remember what they are called)

This same s*** happenned with my Lexus IS300. Got pulled over for my rear lights and argued until I gave up.

Everything on my MSP is totally stock.

i have had issues with state troppers before with my 240sx, havent had a issue with my msp but it sonly been 2 weeks...towards the end of the month and espically around holidays keep an eye out, theyll get u for anything to get thier monthly "requirements" filled....

I've had numerous run-ins with Maryland's finest. One time a trooper mistook my 2nd generation Mazda RX-7 for a stolen Porsche 944 in the area. They hire some real morons. Also, Annapolis cops and Anne Arundel County cops are ticket hungry too. They look for any reason to stop you. I'm glad I live in Howard County....the police presence isn't quite as high and corrupt.

some cops are just itchin to ruin someone's day. i swear they just get bored and decide to pull over someone for one thing or another in hopes to fill their quota. i never like traveling through MD on 81 on my way to and from PA. i have heard some stories.

so they can ticket it you for mods? in TX your exhaust can only be XXdB's loud etc. but it sounds like they just have to do a visual inspection and they can write tickets in MD??!?!

no, i dont think they can with all the exhausts that r modified here, no they cant, the b**** just wanted to write a ticket cuz she was having pms and got ****** too hard by guy she sleeps with and was having trouble getting rid og the herpes she caught...

yeah.. I think its crap... I heard female officers can be a lot tougher... and I just moved here like 6 months ago, but I still don't think those are valid violations... If its only a crack and not dangling or dangerous, I doubt they can ticket you on that... and as for the rest I think its all garbage... on those instances, I would go to the court and just say "this is garbage. My car is stock and meets all the requirements. this officer was harrassing me and I want something to be done about it for wasting my time and the courts..." of course that probably won't sit too well, but you aren't really doing anything wrong so they can't really do anything to you... at least not til you s*** in their lobby, or on her car... hehe

Yep in Maryland if you have an illegal mod, you can get one/both of the following:

Ticket

Repair Order


If you don't get the item on the repair order fixed in like 2 weeks they suspend your registration. If you luck out, you will only get one of these. A prick cop will give you both a ticket and a repair order. If you have tinted windows, a ticket is better than a repair order though. Then you don't have to take the tint off.

Yeah Hawaii is crazy as hell with their Recon. BS. Here they can write you a ticket for mod. exhaust, illegal lighting, suspension you name it. I'm running scared. lol. I am gonna get my Dealer Windo sticker and keep it in the car with me just in case. I know a guy with a Civic that got $700 worth of tickets in one stop.

been stoped twice for no front license plate, but then they see there ARE NO HOLES for it and let me off with a $50 warning ticket.

That is the new Texas thing. They have been illegal for years, but they recently made the law regarding license plate covers stricter (so that any text on the plate cannot be covered up by a cover) and the cops are being real dicks about it. A lot of dealerships had to redo their plate covers to make them fit regs.

lol i love you guys but when i lived there i never had to worry my car was tagged in tn.. LOL.. so state troopers pull me over.. realize im tn tagged adn they don't know the laws... sad sad got away everytime HAHA. ask midnight.... thank god i was ridin between you guys HAHA.
