I finally got my new speakers in my Touring (professionally installed) and the sound it's awesome. I just placed an order for a Kicker Hideaway Sub to put under the passenger seat.

My set up:

front doors and dash tweeters: 8 inch Memphis Component MC 15-MCS8 http://www.memphiscaraudio.com/products/speakers/mclass-component-speakers/

back doors:Kicker 11KS65 6.5 inch. 2-Way KS Coaxial Speakers, 195W Max / 65W RMS (Kicker KS 6.5) https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned)

Amp: Kenwood Excelon X450-4 http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113X4504/Kenwood-Excelon-X450-4.html#customer-reviews-tab

This set up is giving me superior quality. The only thing missing is good bass, so I just placed an order for a Kicker hideaway to put under the passenger seat

Will let you know how it goes with the sub!!!

If you're disappointed with the kicker hideaway try the 2 8" subs I'm using, I love them and still have all my cargo space.

I appreciate your advice, reviews seems very favorable to the hideaway. It will arrive on Friday, can't wait!

Post pics of the sub when you get it. I'm really looking for a sub myself and under the passenger seat would be perfect if it fits!

What did you do with those subs to not lose your storage?

Hey sixspped, I will really appreciate some help sharing the install process info.

Could you describe the installation for me? I want to plug it to the Touring touch screen unit, is there additional cables or something else I need to get?
I want to install it under the passenger seat too. Where did you place the remote volume?

Thanks so much man!

I took out the spare and just carry a tire plug kit and an air compressor in case of flats. Road trips I can toss the spare in if I need to. They fit like they were made for it and sound great but still looks completely stock.

hey milk,

I saw your set up and like it but my amp is 4 channels only. I need a sub that is self powered like the hideaway. The other ones will be too bulky.
