Got my replacement P5

brought home my new-to-me P5... '02 5spd sunroof etc, 130k miles..
Seems in good shape. only upgrade/non-stock thing is poly mount inserts.
Enough left from the insurance payoout of the 03 for stereo upgrades, sound deadening etc, cash on hand for repairs and still much leftover to save for the next car.

Jury's still out on the poly bushings... I like the firm feel but aweful loud on the highway, seems alot of vibes transferring though.

Perhaps that haven't broken in? My mounts are only loud at low engine speeds and when going from a stop. They are surprisingly smooth at higher RPM and highway speeds.

I know it's been many thousand miles since install.
Yes, def loud on startup (kinda nice rumbly, actually), low RPMs and getting going from stop.
At highway speed (like 65-75 MPH) it's like a constant drone. My first thought was the cheap tires, but if I pop the clutch while cruising it goes away, then back as soon as it engages.

^That could still be exhaust. i would check for leaks or rubs where it is hitting the body...
