I finally got my hi boost fmic ...it looks sick...i'm probably gunna start the install now...ill post back as the project progresses(spelling)

It should be pretty easy to install, remove all old IC pieces, bolt on new ones. It is afterall a "bolt-on" kit.

I spoke to my Service rep about replacing the IC with a larger one and the warranty issues that might arrise.

He felt that a larger IC would certainly be benificial to both improving the life of the turbo and reducing turbo lag at higher operating temperatures.

He is speaking to Mazda about the change and should have a ruling from them soon (Hopefully in our favor).

Once I hear back, I'll post and if things are positive will be ordering this exact FMIC.

Mazda will tell him no chance in hell most likely considering most dealers will tell you a non mazda air freshener voids the warranty.

You sure he didn't say the life of the engine. Intercooler is after the turbo?
