so i got my hood, grill and eyelids today and i'm soooo stoked! it looks absolutely amazing! makes my car look mean and aggressive. i have a slight issue with the fitment on the drivers side of the hood and the fact that it doesn't close perfectly but considering that it is handmade i can look past small issues. the weave is perfect. a few tiny flaws here and there but nothing major. i've seen some bad hoods in my time and this one is gorgeous. anyways, here are a few pics in my garage. will post more tomorrow when the sun comes out. Sunny 70* tomorrow in columbia!

Looks awesome man! I installed my DGM lip a week ago and I just ordered the OEM hood. I can't wait also. How long did it take you to put on the hood? It's just only 4 bolts right?

yea it was four bolts. take off the bottom two bolts first and then loosen the top two and then the hood just slides upwards and off. took like 10 minutes and most of that was figuring out where to put the stocker without scratching or breaking it. i think i want to get the lip too. or at least a bigger splitter and/or in c/f.

also got a new cellphone today. the Verizon LG VX8000. so i had pretty damn good day!

niiiiiice. damn you just dropped around $800 or so. nice. i want a LIP !

it was actually a little over 900 shipped so not tooooo bad. the hood is 1095 plus shipping on DGM's website. i figure i got a good deal. if you think that a bad VIS hood on ebay is like 350 plus shipping, i only paid 200 more and got a MUCH better hood.

So did you modify the intake that came with the hood so it will work with the msp?

i didn't get the airbox with it. i just got the hood. however i'm considering ordering just the box and modifying my injen to make it functional.

Looks hot. I can't wait to get my tein suspension so then I can order my DGM C/F lip. Hopefully it will look hot on my original red protege5

thanx for all the comments guys. i love it myself. i'm at work but will try to get some pics today. was supposed to be sunny but it's not. it's cloudy and yucky out. not raining but it might. will post when i get home.

on a side note: eventually i will paint the sides of the hood black and get some eyelids painted black and hopefully it will look even better. i'm thinking a carbon strip down the center of the car rolling off onto the grill. should be cool. gotta save up for some paint. need new brake rotors too tho so it may have to wait a while...anyways! more pics tonight!

okay, some daytime shots...might try to take more if i can get a better angle with less glare. enjoy!
