if you guys have anymore ???s or want more pics, lmk!

yes, u can get gains. lower pressure drop means a gain in lost boost to the manifold, and lower temps means more hp from the colder air. its not as much gain as other mods but i bet theres some lost hp gained in there from the loss of heat alone. looks like a pretty nice kit. lots of piping though, i wonder how much throttle response is lost compared to the tmic.

no need to say sorry i was just correcting that there is gains. :)

on a side note, they should paint that bottom bracket black, i saw it stick out on someones ms6 and it looks kinda tacky. but thats just me. im anal.

hmm i like the painting it black idea... more stealthy look to the car but i dunno maybe ill try it and post pics tomorrow if i do.

no, i just said, in my opinion its tacky. i think cpe could have powdercoated it black, it does stick out from the facia. you just happen to have a pic of it.

i personally like the metal.

and boostedspd6, did you take your crashbar out? looks kinda like it.

yeah, there should actually be pretty decent gains due to heatsoke being minimal to none. as to where the tmic was sitting on the hot motor.

we are gonna do a couple runs my srt against his ms6. it runs a hell of a lot harder from 2nd up! very noticable diff, but not as big as the TBE.

Thank you.

There is absolutely no lost in boost spool with the CPE FMIC. The turbo actually spools faster than stock. I believe it is b/c the stock IC has soooo much pressure drop (2-3 psi) that it results in slower build of boost. Extra piping, core size, blah blah blah. Here's the proof:
Dadasracecar WOT Boost Comparo.webp

Every mod I've made over stock has resulted in faster spool and even more sustained boost in the upper rpms.

good to hear theres no loss of response. i bet its cause of the stock ic also, its the same with our car. its a nice kit.
