got my act clutch and aluminum fly wheel installed

and OMG the car rev's faster and smoother, especialy in first....too bad its winter time, too much black ice to really test it, clutch engages alot smother then the stock one too!!!

now hopefully that will solve my bunny hopping problem!...time will tell

what is the wieght of the flywheel...and is the stock one 18 lbs or what?

Yeah that upgrade is sweet. When I got mine done it felt so good. I almost want to go and test drive a new car to see what it feels like because my car is feeling a little slow. I NEED MORE SPEED!!!

Speaking of the clutch/flywheel mod, has anyone tried to get the dealer to use the aftermarket parts in place of the factory clutch/flywheel when performing the TSB??

I got the ACT clutch and fidanza flywheel. GOod mods, but it's not gonna get rid of your "bunny hop" (assuming you mean wheel hop)...i don't understand how it COULD. It has nothing to do with it.

how much was the total for parts and labor. i know that RR-racing has the clutch flywheel package for $500. Does spool have a clutch flywheel combo??? I will be needing clutch anf flywheel in the near future, i was hoping someone comes out with a cheaper LSD b4 i get the clutch installed.

Labor for me was about 260. I was going to do it myself but couldn't get the driveshaft out. Still cant figure out how to do it to this day.

yes i got the flywheel too...got the combo package from www.srmotorsports.com

got my mazda dealer to do it...wasn't confortable letting a local shop touch a new car engine....labor was $400+ cdn..expensive but they did it right
