Love it! It does not seem as sluggish as the 2013 I test drove. And I don't know if it's me or what, but the road noise seems lower as well. Beautiful vehicle!! The Pandora app works great. :-)

I'm having 2 issues, which are likely my own fault. Can't get the Homelink to "learn" my garage door opener and I can't receive text messages via bluetooth. I haven't spent much time trying to figure these out, hopefully I will get it this weekend. Any tips are welcome!
 
In my garage door home link experience - you need to hold the remote in front of the mirror then proceed with learning it on your 'learn' button on your garage motor.

Is the transmitter on your garage door opener the rolling type? If so, you need to have someone help you by hitting a little button on the motor housing and you hit the button on the homelink.

From the Manual:

5. At the garage door opener receiver
(motor-head unit) in the garage, locate
the learn or smart button. This can
usually be found where the hanging
antenna wire is attached to the motorhead
unit.
6. Firmly press and release the learn or
smart button. (The name and color of
the button may vary by manufacturer.)
NOTE
There are 30 seconds in which to initiate step
7.
7. Return to the vehicle and firmly press,
hold for two seconds and release the
programmed HomeLink button. Repeat
the press/hold/release sequence a
second time, and, depending on the
brand of the garage door opener (or
other rolling code equipped device),
repeat this sequence a third time to
complete the programming process.
HomeLink should now activate your
rolling code equipped device.
 
So if it's the 2014 GT, then it's the 2.5? My local dealer just called me today, and said they got some in. Wife has been shopping for a new car and really liked the 2013, but thought it was a little underpowered. How would you compare the power to the 2.0?

Yes, I have the 2.5L (GT and AWD). I was in the same boat as your wife. I took the 2013 for test drive and thought "it's kind of a slug". Then I heard the 2014 would have a bigger motor, so I waited. I'm glad I did. It's not a racecar, but I certainly don't feel like it is a slug either. I didn't want to buy a 2013, then spend the next X number of years wishing I had the 2.5L. IMO, I would tell your wife to get the 2014. Or at least find a dealer that has both and test drive them.
 
That's the plan. I think we're going to drive the 2.0 and 2.5 back-to-back to get a good comparison of the power.
 
I saw that sky blue on CX-5 earlier this week on showroom floor at dealership, it looked good enough to make stop and stare.
 
Orange clock works fine, it hasn't failed or been unreadable in 10+ months of ownership.

congrats! The bluetooth feature for text messages may need to be turned on through your "speech" settings on your phone. At least that's how it is on my WindowsPhone8.
 
I believe the problem with the clock is that it's hard to see if wearing polarized glasses. The plastic that it's behind washes it out.
 
I wish the clock was positioned higher. I feel like I'm hunting around to find it. That's a VERY minor complaint. (cheers2)
