So yeah today i was working for my contractor boss and i parked my car across the street from where the driveway was, but not directly from the driveway, only to the right.

Anyways, the drywall guys back the van out, turns heading to my car, saw them and thought they were gonna stop, but noooooooo they kept going til they bumped my car! i immediately ran and saw the damage and told my boss about this and he will deal with the drywall guys to cover the expenses.

Now, the pictures don't do justice. However, it's enough damage to anger me and start a war.

The first set of pictures up to the reflector shot is precious scratches made in the parking lot. I will get that done soon as well.

My boss is now talking with the drywall guy and I will be getting an estimate in the morning at the body shop. Let's hope things work out!

Sucks as we have the worst paint I have ever seen sprayed on a car. The slightest things cause the paint to be removed down to bare metal.

No need to start a war. You saw who did it and have the names of the parties involved. You could always just turn it in to your carrier and get it fixed. Your carrier's adjuster will then go after other driver.

I know how you feel, my friend was walking next to my car the other day and when he picked up his foot, it ever so slightly feathered my car and behold! there was a little barely noticable(except to me of course) chip on my front fender.

I was so pissed, I almost lost a friend. And it went all the way down to the metal.

yeah the mazda paint looks great on the day you pick it up, but thats usually the last time. It is certainly not designed for high speed driving. I have more than a few rock chips on the bumper, hood, roof, and rocker panels that go all the way down to the metal.

Just got the estimate for the back dent and driver's side scratches. Came to a whopping 1,579.00 dollars!

Definitely going to do the insurance road if the drywall guys don't pay up front.

remember that if you involve your ins co it will show up on carfax lowering your cars overall value.

edit: i would have killed them all.

You work in the construction industry and drive a speed 3 to jobsite's? Buy a beat up truck for work, and park the car.
