why pay for those??

cut your own antenna with a dremel and then stick an antenna cap on it for 50 cents. you don't lose reception either.... i have done this:

you guys are wasting your money and losing reception if you get those cheesy antennas. not to mention that most of those are painted, so they may start to flake soon after purchase.

i want a smaller antenna as well....would love to get the really short one in black....might have to walk buy a few audi/vw car yards late one night

reception is the same for me here in LA. i ordered from someone on this forum who was selling them back in dec i believe. it was from a guy in canada, i bought it for $21 shipped.

Are there any fold down antennas out there (that look good, and fit). Every time I Go surfing I have to take mine off. I don't mind too much since I have a 6 disk in dash, but my damn luck Ill end up loosing mine some day!

serious? where can you find Antenna Caps at?

Can find the antenna caps at any Hobby shop that deals with RC (Remote Control) cars/boats/planes. Just ask them for an antenna cap, and they should know what you're talking about.

Just unscrew the antenna at the base and it will come off. Cut the antenna at an angle so that the antenna cap will fit easier.
