that car has more problems then the msp... natey do not buy a c-class if can avoid it. They are not quick what so ever. Benz has gone down hill in the lux market.

It's a nice car, don't get me wrong, but it's the bottom of the line Benz. When we drove it we noticed a few things that I'd never expect from a Mercedes.
Almost three years later and I'm still lovin' the P5!

excatly... bottom of the line. Put her in a new fully loaded mustang for the same price... or 2.5 altima fully loaded. side note... im not selling the P5 cant afford it. I am more then likely going back to stock.

I looked at getting a c230 Kompressor before I got the Pr5. Nice little cars, just dealer guys were real snobs and actually stated that this was the 'poor man's MB'?! I was like wth? If you don;t mind me asking; what year, mileage and cost?

Picked her up yesterday.

It's got an intercooled supercharged 2.3L with 6 speed manual. Did I mension that it also got a RWD?

I remind you to look at my car... its got more money in it then your benz does. If i want too i could have bought one but i dont like luxury cars... so its ethier modded sport compact or truck for me. Im not knocking you for buying it but the thing does have crazy problems, should have done some research before bought it. Thus why i further warned natey.

I raced a 4-door C230 Kompressor, I think it was an auto...neck and neck to the top of third till we let off...

I almost took one for a test drive, but I realized that the e-brake was a foot pedal... I don't know why, but that really irked me, so I didn't end up getting into it. =) I absoloutly LOVE how they look, though; I like 3 doors, and had a mad crush on that car when it first came out. =) Enjoy the car! I bet it'll be pretty darn nice for you.

but doesnt the C230 have a 1.8 ? i don't think it's a 2.3 ... i usually am pretty good at remembering that kind of stuff ... it has like 188hp and 192tq ... +-1

Many problems with that car but maybe you won't be as picky as the people I deal with...there are lot of TBS ..but It is a nice car...fun go kart...the c230k with 1.8 is the new motor which is the 271 the old engine was a 2.3 it was a 111 engine .. if I was you I would have got the c55 v8 now that is a go getter...

Other way around. Older c230s had the 2.3. The newer ones have 1.8s. One of my best friends has one. Great car, great reliability, plus mercedes benz service.

The older C230s had the blown 1.8L and those were even slower.
