Got a flat tonight:(

Well, it happen at the worse time. Got a flat while leaving work tonight at 10pm. Then I didn't have the wheel lock key with me, so the tow truck guy couldn't swap the tires for me (remove the jack because it was clucking around in the hatch). Finally, after spending 20 minutes loading my car on the flatbed, 10 minute drive home, and 30 minutes unloading my car, I am home.

Tomorrow brings all new challenges: get to swap the tires (in the cold), take it in to be fixed, and then get my ass to work because I am not getting paid to get my tire to be fixed. Finally get home and breath for the moment.(sleep)

I did get to see what caused the flat.....HUGE chunk of metal!!! Post pictures tomorrow when I remove it.

I just hope it is not too bad of a hole and it can be repaired....otherwise it is going to cost me a new tire. And I actually like these tires.....they were a blast to drive in the snow today.

ive been looking at the yokohama parada spec2 for summer tires.

They are the Yokohoma H4S......a new tire that was just released this past fall.

Here is the picture of the chunk of metal in my Yokohoma. It torn into the thread and the bead on the tire. Tire was scrapped and a new one will be here on Monday. Gotta loaner tire currently.

No, I wish I could tell what it is from......maybe one of the plows that did the street I live on. Maybe from one of the may scrapped trucks in the neighbors driveway next to mine. Not sure where it came from, but I do know the damage it caused.

hmmm......what a bad weld job there.....if only they did a f**kin better job!
