Google Now voice commands integration

Is it possible to integrate Google Now somehow with the CX-5's voice command system? On my phone, I can press a button to activate Google Now (which is like Siri on the iPhone), then dictate commands like "send text to Fred Smith: I like pineapples". It would be awesome if I could press the voice command button on the CX-5's steering wheel, say something like "Google" or "phone", and then have whatever I say after that passed straight to Google Now. But as far as I can tell there's no pass-through capability of the voice commands: all commands are parsed by the car's computer, and then it communicates with the phone to make a call if necessary.

This would be awesome! Pretty much what we need is Mazda to integrate Android auto. They are on the list of supported automakers that are suppose to put android auto into their cars but we have yet to hear of anything. Come on Mazda.
