These Goodyears look like a new product at Tire Rack, but they have no survey results. Has anyone purchased these and if so, what do you think of them? It may be too early in the season for anyone to get any drive time in the snow, but maybe I could get some cold and rainy condition feedback.

I am looking at these as an alternative to the DM-V1. Tire Rack lists this as available in P245/60R18, but Goodyear's site says they aren't available in this size.

I got my tirerack winter catalog in the mail the other day. They do list the Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT in 245/60/18 @ $159 each.

The DM-V1 in 245/60/18 is listed at $161 each.

I am just curious as to why you're considering the Goodyear over the DMV1? I haven't driven on either, but I do have the DMV1's sitting in the garage for when the white stuff decides to fly.

I wanted to see if there was a newer tire that may be better than the DMV1 which seems to have received very positive reviews on this board. Sometimes the new kid on the market is a little better. The prices are pretty comparable. Still no reviews on Tire Rack.
