Goodbye to my Yellow P5

Well this past week I had to say goodbye to my yellow P5. It was very sad as it was my first brand new car. I really liked it a lot. I only sold it to be able to afford what is just about my dream car. I really loved the features of the P5 and the color rocked. When I was looking at these two side by side it made me realize just what a bargain the P5 is and how awesome it looks. Too bad the only thing missing was the power. Anyway, makes me a little sad to look at the pics. But what do you guys think of my new ride? Was trading the P5 a good thing to do?

FYI, if you are in the Tampa area and want a great P5 with very low milage that was really babied then call David Cardwell at Mastro Subaru 800-683-2532.

FYI, if you were driving a black msp over the bay on Thursday night about 11 pm or you were near Honeymoon island or Dunedin on Friday afternoon sorry I couldn't run with you. Not thorugh breakin on the new ride.

Thanks for looking and peace.

 I don't blame you at all for trading a P5 for that. It is SWEET. Hop eyou like your new car :)

Since you traded in your P5 for an STI, I say that trading in the P5 was a good thing. Now you won't have to worry about the power issue anymore. Have fun with subbie.:D

Curious, what you got for the p5.

Thanks. Not near what I wanted, but isn't that always what the deal is. I had a mid cycle refresh P5. This means it is virtually identical to a 2003. It is very different than the 2002. The problem is that the NADA book doesn't recognize the 2002.5 as a model. They only have 2002 and no 2003 listed at all. Milage category I for this car (auto) is currently listed as 10,550 so that is what I got. Sucks as if I had a 2002 model with the same miles and the older tranmission, wheels, no side lights, and crappy cupholders I would have got the exact same dollars. I guess you might get more from a Mazda dealer that would recognize the value difference.

Nice...now to offset the savings with 92 octane!!.....j/k

Seriously, nice choice. I was going to get a WRX (03...I like the bubble lamps....I don't like the 04 styling...anyway), but everything associated with it cost more: insurance, fuel (an issue with me), and payments.....

Good luck with the Scooby...
