hey i'm going to be needing new tires soon and i have a buddy who can mount them for me so what is a good set of tires from tirerack.com? i'm looking for good handling in dry and decent to good handling in the rain. i do not care about snow handling. thanks!

Well, I havent had a single time when I have been disappointed with them, so handling in dry and rain has been great so far

discounttiredirect.com is a good place as well. they have free shipping too.

I'll second the Kumhos. Great all-around tire for wet, dry, snow and long wear.

I unfortunately had to find out about the grip in the snow this weekend. We got a damn blizzard! Fortunately the tires are good!

Yeah, we got a few inches, too. Even with 18,000 miles on my Kumhos, I still had no problems!

For a higher performance dry/wet tire, the Kumho MX is awesome. Probably more $$ but they still have a decent treadwear rating.

Personally, i'm going with Falken Azenis, they do have a lower treadwear rating, but they have superior grip. But i live in SoCal and it's pretty much dry all year long.
