Good news for 2010 MS3 owners!

Mazda made a big improvement in the tranny mount!

Mazda beefed it up with some cast metal reinforcement and a deviously clever 'tooth' that sticks up from the tranny and interlocks with the mount in a way that looks like it will prevent lateral twist. Still, it's a vertical fastening and there was no locktite on the bolt!

Other than that, though - it should hold up better!

Maybe so, I had too much movement, too many marks on my TMIC cover. That is why I bought the TRZ from Ken. That beefed up support is in the box with all the other crap Mazda can not seem to fix.

I believe he's talking about the tranny mount (located under the battery), not the rear motor mount that you have from TRZ.

TRZ makes a rear and a tranny mount. The TRZ tranny mount doesn't fit the new car because of the slight redesign. I sincerely hope TRZ makes an updated tranny mount. But yeah, I was talking about the factory tranny mount being upgraded. The rear mount is still the same crap as on the older model.

Had no clue you got the TRZ, Zach. How are you liking it? I went with the Corksport MM inserts and it's a night/day difference so far. I'd be interested in trying the TRZ and seeing how much of a difference it is from the inserts.
