Good compact car for under 16K?

I dont think we wanna get a german car...they=$$$ to fix.

Right now Im thinking about a G20 for her. I totally forgot about that car, it was a GREAT suggestion

g20 above 1996 are not available in stick to my recollection. besides it is pretty much a sentra with a sticker that bumps it up. so in all reality you can get a newer sentra, with lower miles, and be the same car as a g20 and the chance of finding one in stick. but the oz rally would also be one of my choices

the G20 looks eleventy billion times better than a sentra though. And she wants an auto, i couldnt convince her on the stick...
