Going to look at a Miata tommorow, what shoud I look for?

Im heading to VA to look at an MX-5 thats listed for $2300 and here is what I know:

-93
-red
-98k miles
-5 spd
-17's
-top is leaking a little

So what im asking is what should I ask the seller specifically and what should look for. Also should I shoot lower like maybe a $2k offer cause I have really know idea how much they go for just that they KBB anywhere from $2-3k.
