Believe me or not, its still the highlight of my life, but I scored a goal in college of a punt, not off the ground like that keeper, but it still went in .

does it count either way? i don't know much about soccer, but i know that there are direct and indirect kicks....and indirect cannot count as a goal.

indirect can count as a goal as long as 2 people on same team touch the ball. thats why you see one guy lightly tap the ball so it rolls a foot or two, while another guy comes up and blasts the s*** out of it.
I love soccer, it's my favorite sport. That probably has to do with the fact that I'm Portuguese. Oh yeah, we almost won the European Cup in 2004.

ive scored from half field but thats just crazy! that goalie on the other team sucks. thats gotta be the most embarassing thing evAr

Brazil is still ranked #1 and Portugal is up to #9 in the world

um...so once the guy touches it...it's in play...and therefore NOT an indirect kick....

so still: indirect kicks CANNOT count as a goal...right?

well, you're kinda answering your own question. if the ref calls an indirect kick, the the first person to touch the ball cannot shoot it directly at the net and score by himself...unless it touches another teammate on the way there(except handball). but the most common way done is the way I explained before, but some do shoot it in the way of the net to reflect off another teammate and score, but not as easily done.

it doesnt have to be off a team mate, you can deflect an indirect kick off any person, either team, same with throw-ins.

so if you kick it towards the goal...it hits the other team and goes in....it counts?? same with a throw? nice

technically yes, because then it's an autogoal.
