It is funny, but I hate to think of it as funny. The only good thing is that they never knew it was coming. They were dead before they knew what hit them. Here is the bad part.
This is waht they were doing. There were two guys in the vehicle. After fueling some tanks, that we couldn't see because of camo, they were returing back on the road that they came from. The passenger got out, then the truck drove about 1/4 mile up the road. He then stopped. We were like? Then the gauy kept walking until he got to the truck, then the truck drove off again, then stopped about the same distance. ????? Then the guy got to the truck again, and the truck drove off again. We finaly figured that the guy that kept walking was doing so, so that just incase the guy was ambushed in the truck, they guy walking up from behind could run up without them knowing and kill all of them that were ambushing.
Well, they did this about 4 times. Finally, they walking guy steps into the truck after catching up to it after about the 4th time. About 20 seconds later,....while the truck was moving down the road,....BOOM. Huge explosion. Imaging how big the explosion was, they had a tanker full of fuel behind them. It's was an awesome site. But still nothing close to carpet bombing. We would watch them lay out whole villages at a time. By about a month into it, we were finding so many targets, everytime we had a plane in the air, the Airforce designated two B-52s at our bekon call. We would directly call the plane and give them coordinates. When they would unleash hell, another would take it's place. Imagine this for two months strait. That's how much damage we did to that country. Now that is the war you don't see on CNN.
