Ginding/pop noise when starting off....

Only happens after the car has been parked for a bit. Seems like within the first 5-10 feet it will make a pop/grind almost fart noise. I've looked at the suspension install I did, and can't find anything loose anywhere (Bilstein pss kit).

Can't remember when this started, but it's there.

Just the other day on the way home the ABS light and skid light came on in the middle of a turn at speed...and stayed on. Shut the car off, they went away, but came back shortly after. Now they are on 24/7.

I have an appointment at the dealer in the AM, but thought I throw a post out there and see if anyone has had an issue like the above one(s). I'm thinking they might be related, and a bit worried the dealer will tell me blah blah blah it's the bilsteins fault, yada yada yada.

May be the brakes are not unclamping after park and the noise you hear is friction pop. Could have happen from unbalanced hydraulics from tcs or master cylinder o-ring blown keeping fluid from returning.

U have bilstein coilovers? Or just shocks? Do u hear it coming thru the inside of the car or does it sound more exterior like by the wheels?

Set off to the dealership today....light off and no ABS codes stored. Grrr.... dealer says to bring it back when the light is on. Gonna take it in anyway and get it looked at/first oil change done (freebe)

The ABS pump often does that grind/pop/fart noise when first taking off. It's calibrating itself.

it's probably that. My car does that everytime I go after sitting for a little while. I thought it was a little weird at first but I get used to it.

Visual inspection shows no wear/rubbing on any of the ABS lines, and all the suspension components are tight. Light(s) are back on now, so hopefully I'll have time to drop this thing of soon. Sometime next week, as this weekend is shot and I work M-Th.
