Gimmie Your Questions

I have a question.

Why do I feel I want to make love to a man today?! (chair)

mine almost touched 0 yesterday.

Mine does the same and on occasion has stalled while coasting to a stop following a spurt of acceleration. Usually occurs with the clutch depressed while not engaging any gears.

This may be more of a mazda question:
Why are there intake leaks occurring? Does that have anything to do with the turbo? Seems like I've read that occuring in a few on this board - mine included. Is it just the lack of testing following the installation of the turbo "at the yards" in port?

I've demonstrated it to the Mazda dealer/service folks by placing my hand over the intake opening AND the car not stalling. Doesn't that indicate a leak somewheres? They just scratch their heads an say "huh":wtf:

The email has been sent. Lets see how long it takes to get a response. :D Ill post it in a new thread.

No offense, but your original post said "6-13-03" and unless I stepped into the Twilight Zone...it's only the 11th. Is it too late to ask my questions? [Jus askin' - don't take offense to this inquiry]

LMAO Greg, thats cause im too sexy for my mazdaspeed. (right said fred impersonation here)

JPBlackMP5, sorry, it seemed most questions were the same across the boards. If there is something you would like to add, I can shoot off another email. Callaway is really good with their Custmer service issues. So there would be no problems. Ohhh lol I just read your post before this.

Ill send that along also, that is an interesting isue there. Seems to me that your dealership should replace your whole intake/Intercooler plumbing. The issue would have to be in that piping somewhere.

The MSP was orrigionaly supposed to come with Hard Pipes for the I/C, but the frikin NHTSC wouldnt pass it for safty issues. (Said the piping could cause injury to driver or passengers, if it went through the firewall cause its steel. what a bunch of bs. I think Half our issues would be solved JUST by hard pipes for the IC) Ther would be alot less expansion of the pipes, thus maintaining more of the boost pressure.

Hey!! I am having sooooo much fun here!!
......... My idle isn't a real issue with my K&N. A little lowering of the rpms, perhaps; but nothing near stalling. Maybe 100-200 rpm decrease. Since; (one day!!! Ha!), I will get my MBC installed - the K&N stays.

Boostisgood,
is my question about intake leaks relevant? or misdirected? is it just a matter of installation (or poorly done so)? I didn't see that question anywhere in the thread. "jus axsin":D

Jim,

I shot that issue off to Callaway also. IMHO, it would be either a poor fitment/install or an issue with a cracked/broken pipe. Ill try that when I get home also, to see if I have that issue.

thanks so much. I'll await their response. And get on Mazda to service this issue. I'm losing boost and mileage sucks.
