I have been a long time member here(5+yrs) and I have been making products for nearly the same amount of time .
One at a time...Until recently.
I am in the process of gathering info and looking for a Test/Mock up car in the Dayton , OH area to work with me on Fitting a new Column Gauge pod.
I would also like to see any angles of your column area , outside and inside , which would help me with design of this item.
I also need some feedback from the three community on whether you would like a single Column Pod or a Dual Column pod.
This would be an upper replacement Piece for your Steering column and would be an ABS molded Item.
I am currently in the production Phase with the Protege Line and I am looking to expand out into other cars...Starting with the "3".
Here is the pod I am in the process of Re-making for the protege. It is currently in the tooling stage and should be out to market in about 5-6 weeks.
If I decide to get a "3" part made....I could have it out in as little as 12 weeks depending on the Support and demand I get for it.
This is where you, the members and owners of the "3" , come into play.
I don't see a whole lot of Gauge options out there for you guys ...so I will offer ths up and we will see where it goes from here.
I started out doing a lot of Custom one off Fiberglass gauge pods..and although I still plan on making those....Mass production of a Wanted and needed item had to be adressed to these communities.
Lets hear your thoughts and questions.
