GI: MSP 3" Turbo Back Exhaust

Im not trying to be a pain in the ass by asking for seperate parts..but i would be VERY interested in just the midpipe section w/ no cats. on that will bolt up to a stock msp, stainless or mild ill go either way if its less than $330. cause in the next week or so im was planing on buying the apex..only b/c i cant find one for cheaper

anyone have an old s pipe and j pipe layin around i can buy for cheap? cause i can send that to them and get it started. so i dont lose my car lol

(ie: bolts up to the 3 bolt flange and to the 2-bolt flange after the cats?) If that's the case, ours shipped to you with the member discount is significantly cheaper then the Apex one.

terbow - If you plan on trying to run divorced WG path; it better be running into a collector at the proper length. Otherwise plumbing the WG into the turbine path improperly will cause many problems and hinder performance.

Well im not a company, Im not looking to make money on it either, whatever it cost me it, thats what it would cost you. Its definately going to be stainless. i cant offer you guys a warranty other than manufacture defect. So stainless is best. it wont rust and last as long as the car. I can ask them for prices on lesser matierals also, but i wont honor any rusting issues. Im just doin this as a favor. It will be mandrel bent either way.

Now for flanges.... theres 2 types. theres one thats completely open and theres one that is kinda like what ion uses.

flange 2:
this one would be the easiest i think, we can just cut out the wg hole and run a 2nd pipe and merge it into one (similar to ion). This way we can divorce the 2 flows. (ill look into adding a wall between the 2). Or the other flange which is really open and would mix the 2 flows right away. I vote for the 2nd flange. Any thoughts?
I vote for divorced wastegate piping. The collector should be properly sized, and around 18" or more away from the flange connecting to the turbo.

anyone have an s pipe and j pipe to donate? i can give it back when im done, they want a stock one, i cant take mine off the car at the moment.

The s-pipe (part connected to the turbo) is what everyone is after an affordable version of.

ok heres what i got.

It will take 1 week (form when i get an oem S and J pipe) to fabricate. Then i test it blah blah. So within 2 weeks or so from when i get a stock pipe. Now i personally think its impossible to just make the s pipe in 3" the bends to steep so were gonna make it the S and J combined. Im assuming thats fine with everyone. This way you just need a midpipe and catback. Or i can get the midpipe made also but thats going to take a lil longer. Once i get the oem pipes ill work out materials and price. Ill keep everyone updated. Sooner i get the oem pieces the sooner i can make this happen.

Thanks for all the effort man. I wish I could donate my pipes for this but I too need the car intact. Good luck.

with all this talk of J pipe S pipe blah blah are you still are going to offer a complete turboback verison ? i just want it all in one shot with a N1 type exhaust

Well I could drive the sat..I just don't know if I want to hehe, it was a commuter car till I got this job in NY but now I take a bus so no miles on any vehicle I own for work. Anything in it for me if I donate for fabrication?

S-pipe / j-pipe combo would be tits! Can't wait. BTW, I'd donate mine, but it's my daily driver.

k i did. the dp and exhaust is 2 diff places so yes its possible. i can have it made it would just take me a week or 2 once i get the dp to get the exhaust jigged. im not a company just a regular guy trying to help out so i can get it full exhast, i just have to rely on the fabricators.

If you donate your pipes you can get a handshake, lol im not sure how i would offer anything im trying to help everyone else out.

hehe it was worth a shot. I hope this donator works out. I am really interested in seeing how this turns out. Keep up the good work.

What kinda cash are we talking shipped on a FULL 3" turboback w/ highflow cat? I'm very interested. Have the money waiting just looking for something to pounce on.

I just drove my buddy's RSX-S after he installed a catless header going into his 2.75" exhaust. Man, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! It just makes me want this even more.
