Aslong at i can use my GT Spec, IM IN! need a downpayment? i can send some your way ASLONG as it fits my rear lip... If focus can make the 2003.5 lip in carbon fiber (since hes going to get them remade) Then Ill be in no matter what.

Diffuser update

OK, after we get deposits from six of you we will contact SwirlFX and have him leave the car with us until we produce a part for final fitting. So as it stands we need a 15% deposit or $56.25 for the fiberglass version and $71.25 for the CF or Kevlar version. Its hard for some of us to put deposits down... Like I said before, since he has the 2003.5 rear lip, I dont know if it will fit mine. And Focus is still doing the rear lip projects, so if that gets done and he can make it in carbon fiber, I will be all over this. Or if you can somehow confirm that it will fit a 2003 rear lip then im all over this.

Since it is being molded off an 03.5 I feel confident enough to put down deposit. Will be sending later today my phone was acting up and wouldn't let me do it.

do you have a cad drawing or something??? im so down for this.

and why dose everyone want it to fit over their lip.....why not just take it off and have the diffuser fit in place?

i cant confirm definitively it would fit the 03, but if you look at the 03 and the 03.5 side-by-side, it looks like the 03.5 is a modified 03 with small "diffuser-ish" fins. if it can fit the 03.5 and lipless, id say you should be in the clear.

yeah thats what im saying. the msp have the same bumper minus the lips right? so why not just make the diffuser in take the place of the lip? as apposed to fitting it over the lip?

Because the styleing of the stock lip is great, and the rear diffuser wont be as showy as the stock lip would be because it wont go around the whole way.
