GI GT Spec Front Strut Bar Brace!!

Ok, so after looking around and asking a few vendors and later finding out that GT Spec didn't have any in stock at all, and I would only be able to get one is from a special order of 10 or more people, this is what I came to..

This is for the GT Spec front strut tower brace for MSP which as far as I know the normal Protege and MP3 guys can get in on as well!

1.) I will just be collecting the 10 names of COMMITTED buyers and then I will open a GB thread under the PG section of the forums.

2.) From there I will ask everyone to place their order through PG and we can reference this thread in the comments to make it easier, then Ken will be contacting GT Spec to get them to do the special order/GB and we can all get our GT Spec strut bars!

3.) also I forgot to add, but we are doing the order through PG and he will special order through GT Spec, they will be the price posted on PG for $150, but if you plan to do what I want to, which is sell the stock strut bar after I get this one.. and getting a new one is really cheap! Also I would like to just get the list of people that want these and can buy them, afterwords when we get that far, I will ask ken about the total prices and see what we can work out, but as of now, expect $150shipped.. remember you CAN'T buy them anywhere except for maybe 1 or so that are randomly around, but gl finding it

I would like to get this as soon as possible, when I have my mind set to get something, I really want it. Remember if you pass up on this GB you will have to wait till there is a used one in the FS section or the next GB, and after much deliberation I have decided that for the price and how much better it looks than the stock strut bar, there is no reason at all not to get one..
-so here it goes, lets do this relatively quickly!

(also moderators I have been in contact with Ken from PG and I asked Wagonbacker9 for any tips and thing I am missing before I started this thread so as far as I know I am all set)

Here are the websites showing the product, when it comes to it, we will be ordering straight through PG(also, as much as I wish they could, I found out that no matter what, they can't make them in orange anymore, so they are all in blue, (the brackets that is)but I will be repainting mine anyways)

ya I was just thinking about adding that, they are $150 shipped since we are just ordering them through PG and they need to special order from GT Spec, but I figure, at least for me, once I get my strut bar I will just sell my stock one and in the end it's really cheap for a much much better product..

A little FYI for the person quickest to react. CorkSport has 1 GTSpec front strut bar remaining in their inventory....I just purchased one from them earlier this afternoon.

I expect a BIG thank you from the person who gets to it first.....

I believe its blue. I honestly didn't ask, Lol.....maybe I should have since I had my brother order all the other ones in blue.

hm, why would CS have a GT Spec strut bar? I know they make their own strut bars, but I like the GT Spec ones better personally..

^ They carry more than just their own parts, and yes I agree....GTSpec is better IMO. Check the website.

Have you thought about going through Protephile instead of ProtegeGarage...it seems like he always has better pricing on GT Spec...

I can ask ken to see if there is any way to get a lower pricing for the GT Spec bar if it is ordered as a group, for now I just want to get the people down on the list.

k will do, will most likely take a week to get everyone, I'm really hopping not more, but ya it is normally $150 through PG, and more through other places, but the thing is, you can't get them anywhere, (there is I guess 1 left at CS but that might be gone now), they just don't have any in stock and they need 10+ people before they put it in production, otherwise, you just can't get any of them at all...(I had ordered it from PG and when he went to check my order tracking # from GT Spec, GT Spec had screwed up the order and the number amount they had in stock.. which was really 0, so like I said, there are non to buy anywhere. it sucks they don't keep a few around, but oh well..

oh and they are all going to be blue, from what I heard I couldn't get orange even if I asked, which I did, but they only do blue from now on, I guess to cut down on rip-off parts, easier to do with orange color I guess.. I dono that's what i heard

If we can get em in orange ill buy one. If not then if you can get it shipped unfinished and we get a brake from ken on the price I will buy one. But if its not orange it takes both a brake from ken and a non finished piece.

hmm, I'll ask ken about it, as far as the colors and stuff, I really want orange too, but I have heard they refuse to do it, but I will ask ken to see what GT Spec says about this as a group order thing and if there can be any changes in the color from blue or orange, and as far as price, not sure I will have him take a look at the thread and see what he says...I just figure any price difference wouldn't be too much and the fact that you can't buy them in any other fashion then.. well it wouldn't matter much but I'll ask..
