i'll be boosting shortly. i have a MAM sleeper kit and i just need a few more parts to start the install. i'll be using the mpi tuner. just picked up a spare oil pan tonight..will be installing the bung this week.
i'm running an auto too so i'm real excited about a few extra hp.
i was wondering if i should wait and install the fuel guage when i do the regulator?
i really like what you did with the oil and tranny cooler set up and also the reloctaed filter. i may steal some of your ideas, if you don't mind!

I would wait if I was you. It would be a lot eaiser to tap into the lines for your regulator than the stock ones. I believe it would be impossibe to tap into the stock ones.

And as far as a few extra horse, damn, more than just a few horses!! My car is fast as hell! Just in short bursts.:) Kinda. Its tricky to keep up the boost and get it to shift smoothly. I've spanked the hell out of quite a few pretty fast cars already. A newer v6 camaro and a turbo eclipse were the most notible.
How much boost does that kit run? Im up to about 9ish.

O ya and steal away on all of my ideas and ask me all the questions you want!
 
thanks for the tip. i felt the same way, wait and do it with the regulator.

ya, i'll be about at about 6 psi 180hp, i don't have forged internals so i'll try and keep the boost down. beau from mam was pushing 204 @ 9 psi!
how's your tranny holdomg up? i was think of upgrading the valve body with a kit out of canada?

The tranny seems good for now, pm me that place with the valve bodies though please!
 
Bump,
This is like a crazy good deal. This stuff would cost the average person almost $75 for just the parts.
This makes adjusting your regulator 10x easier than just having an inside guage.
 
just got my regulator so i'm ready to install my fuel new rail and trbomp5 new guage now!!

If you need any info on the gauge install, or how to do the regulator just let me know!
 
How easy is it to install? If I can do it myself, I am in. Just let me know the details. Do you include a printed How-to with the gauge kit or anything like that? PM me and I think I am almost convinced to buy a kit...
